A total of 1,000 litres of water at a maximum temperature of 70°C is used per hour by each cleaner when working continuously. The hot water required for this is supplied by three A.O. Smith direct gas-fired water heaters of type ADM. Together, these three units deliver a continuous supply of 3,000 litres of hot water at 70°C per hour, thus providing all the safe water that is needed. Also included in the ADM range of water heaters is the ADMR model, a fully automatic unit controlled by a microprocessor. This unit is especially effective in preventing the development of Legionella bacteria in hot-water installations.
